wow. skov and i just had a read-aloud session, sitting in the car with the doors wide open to try and dispel the suffocating mugginess that is today's disgusting weather (thanks melbourne). we didn't intend to sit put in the car, nor had we seriously thought to read aloud. but my cousin emma's short story harry has been published in this book:
and it was an addictive eleven pages. easy-to-read, quickly compelling and, frankly, heart-breaking. and that's how i take my short stories. highly recommend.
meanwhile, i've been getting my paint on while someone's been-a-juicin'.
anyone up for some oj? we now have enough to quench the thirst of some really thirsty people.
